About Mridaya Native
Mridaya Native is an online store for terracotta, polished clay and ceramic home decor, based in Bengaluru. We stock clay planters, urlis, vases and decor objects, and every piece is hand-picked for its shape, weight and finish.
Terracotta planters suit indoor plants, balconies and courtyards. An urli filled with water and floating flowers works at an entrance, in a puja space or on a coffee table. Clay vases and polished pieces add a warm, earthy tone to shelves, consoles and dining tables.
We ship to serviceable pin codes across India. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days, shipping is free on orders above ₹1,000, and every piece is packed individually for fragile transit. If a piece arrives damaged, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we will refund or replace it.
Most of what fills a home today was made to be replaced. Plastic that cracks and gets thrown out. Finishes that peel. Things bought in a hurry and forgotten in a season.
Mridaya Native began with a simpler wish: to bring a little soil back into the home.
Clay is the oldest material people have ever shaped. It comes out of the ground. It holds water. It lets a plant's roots breathe. And when it finally breaks, it goes back to being earth. It does not need to be improved on.
Mridaya Native is founded and run by a woman. Our founder works as a model, in a world that moves fast and asks everyone to keep up. Watching that pace, and what it is doing to the places we live in, she wanted to build something that went the other way. Slower. Quieter. Closer to the ground.
We do not make our pieces. We find them. Every planter, urli, vase and object in the collection is hand-picked and chosen one at a time, for its shape, its weight and the way it sits in the light. Most pieces exist in very small numbers, three or five at a time. When they are gone, they are gone.
Clay is never uniform, so no two pieces come out the same. The one you receive will differ a little from the one in our photographs. We think that is the point.
Every time you choose a clay planter over a plastic one, you bring home something that came from the ground and can go back to it. A small piece of soil, kept close.
Own a piece of soil.

Everything we sell is clay, and clay is fragile in transit. This policy is built around one promise: if a piece reaches you damaged, we make it right quickly, without asking you to pack a broken pot back into a box.
If your order arrives damaged, email us at groundswellmarketinglabs@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery, as shown in the courier tracking. Please include:
Please keep the piece and all packaging until your claim is resolved. If you record a video while opening the parcel, send that too. It is not required, but it helps us resolve your claim faster.
If the piece is broken, cracked through, or can no longer be used, we will review your photos and offer a full refund or, if the same piece is in stock, a free replacement. You choose.
If the damage is small, such as a chip, dent or scuff that does not stop the piece from being used, you choose between:
We will never ask you to keep a damaged piece you do not want.
Each piece is clay and no two are the same. These are part of the material and are not treated as damage:
Cracks, chips, and a missing drainage hole on a planter are defects and are covered above.
If we send you the wrong piece, we will arrange pickup at our cost and send the right one, or refund you in full.
Because clay does not travel well twice, we do not accept returns for change of mind.
Before dispatch: email us with your order number and we will cancel and refund your order in full.
After dispatch: orders cannot be cancelled once shipped, as a returned parcel is likely to break in transit. If the piece arrives damaged, the damage terms above apply.
Approved refunds are initiated within 7 days of approving your claim where no return is needed, or within 7 days of receiving the returned piece. Refunds go back to your original payment method. The time it takes to reach your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
We cannot accept damage claims reported more than 24 hours after delivery, because after that we can no longer tell damage in transit from damage in use.
